New Ubuntu install, gave it 25GB, updates say I only have 3MB free. Help!

I'm not sure what's up with this. 25Gigs should be more than enough for updates and software. I also have windows XP on this computer. Please let me know how to fix this!
I'm pretty new to Linux so could you please be as descriptive as possible in how to fix this?

It would help if you were as descriptive as possible in outlining your problem.
What did you use to partition your hard drive? How many drives do you have?
Please post your /etc/fstab file here.
