need to upgrade


I need to upgrade GLIBC from 2.2 to 2.4, when I RPM I get a conflict, I have tried to force & upgrade but it still conflicts. My OS is Mandrake 9.0. Any suggestions?

You first need to solve the dependency conflicts else your system will become unstable.

You said you tried to _force_ it, not relsolve the conflict. What is the terminal output?
