Need to change localhost.localdomain in mail verb

I will be using my database program under Linux and will need to be able to send e-mail.

I have the "mail" verb working, but the e-mail is being placed in the "Junk" folder in outlook.

How do I change the from address for the mail verb??

1. in your hosts file make sure the domain name you want is listed first.
for example mail.domain.com

2. in the file /proc/sys/kernel/hostname
make sure it says: mail
or something else that will correspond to what you put in the hosts file.
To change that file you need to use the echo command as you can't edit it directly.

But unless you have a registerd domain name assigned to the IP address on the box with reverse lookups available you will most likely get put in the Junk box by outlook.
