red = modem side, green = internal network. the setup tools tell you this a number of times.

what you're after there is abuot the most basic way to run it, and it's how my IPCOP box runs too...

do you have a specific problem?

Uh you did read all the IPCop installation and Admin manuals didnt you ?
Yes good OK
There is plenty of very good documentation for IP Cop
start here

http://www.ipcop.org/1.4.0/en/instal...iguration.html
Which gives a good visual description of how things work

http://www.ipcop.org/
and
http://www.ipcops.net/index.php
and
http://firewalladdons.sourceforge.net/index.html

Ther are plenty of good networking how-to and online books
heres one
http://www.oreilly.com/catalog/linag2/book/index.html

IP Cop also adds a blue interface which is like Green but you have to enter every IP / Mac address for them to access the net. Its for wireless connections specifically.

hope this helps
