Question Names of sessions for each desktop environment?

Hi.

What are the names of the sessions for each desktop environment?

This is handy when configuring e.g. LightDM.

For example:

Code:
user-session=xubuntu
Thanks.

I think you can find the installed sessions in /etc/X11/Sessions and/or /usr/share/xsessions:

Code:
ls /etc/X11/Sessions
ls /usr/share/xsessions
Might be different in your distribution.

Hi cepheus11.

The second command gave this:

Code:
ls /usr/share/xsessions
Code:
fluxbox.desktop kodi.desktop mate.desktop xbmc.desktop
Thank you.
