Mysql upgrade. Will it be worth it for us.

We use mysql-server-3.23.58-9.1 on FC2, and it works flawlessly. 98% of our DB activity is select/insert/update. Would upgrading to mysql 4.1 provide any tangible benefits performance-wise?

Probably nothing noticable performance wise. I generally don't upgrade mysql on my servers unless there is some sort of security fix needed. But to answer your question, I'm not really sure but I don't remember a huge difference in performance when I switched from the 3.x to 4.x version.

Or read over the changes and new features it might offer to see if you can take advantage of any of them.. etc.
