If you want to verify correctness of the label, try:

Code:
ls -l /dev/disk/by-label/
To view your partitions, hit `df`. `df -h` will make it human readable using the standard units using powers base 2 (e.g. 1024 bytes=1 kilobyte, 1024 KB = 1 MB, ...). It won't display the label and it only displays mounted partitions (so you'll want to mount all of them (`mount -a` as root; don't expect noauto ones to mount, don't need them) and then `df`).

To change the label, you'll want to read up on a few things. I'd suggest leaving it since it could create some more problems because of user error. Otherwise, here is a quick tutorial if you are willing.
