Question Multi-Langual implemention problem in application


Hello
To All
This is my first massage to forum , i m new memeber.i need help,the problem is i want to give my application multilangual support.Is there is any inbuild fuctionality or API in LINUX os as through which i can give my application multilangual facility , i know there some resources available in Windows to do this ,But at linux is it any such.

in linux no .......

but in the world of non-kernel development there is "gettext" that most use
