Mpich


Is it possible to use MPICH on a single processor installed with Linux?

I thought it is more for message passing between processors, ie, more than one processor...

Yes you can do that since it comunicates between processes but you it'll probably be slower than a sequential solution. yet it's usefull to test your code before using multiple Processors
