mozilla wont start

hey guys, i have a slight problem.

mozilla wont start, when i try to run it from the terminal, i get a brief pause and then the prompt appears again. it gives no error or anything, nothing

however netscape still works.

i have recently installed java, could this have anything to do with it??

mozilla &
in your terminal
what is the output!?

After you type mozilla and it throws you back to the prompt is mozilla running?

ps -aux | grep mozilla

you should also look for error messages in the first virtual console (ctrl-alt-1

). Mozilla will print them there. Also, did you try to install java or did you change something in mozilla's user.js or pref.js recently ?

Make sure your normal user has ownership, the same thing happened to me once & changing ownership to normal user fixed it.
