Mouse Pointer

For some unexplained reason my mouse pointer seems to randomly disappear. After moving the mouse around for a brief second the pointer will finally come back (gets really annoying after a while).

There is nothing in my logs that indicates where this might be coming from. I am guessing it is either XFree86, KDM or KDE though. The machine is running Debian Sarge and the most current version of XFree86, KDE and KDM.

Any ideas would be greatly welcome...

Thanx

Distro = Debian Sarge
XFree86 version = 4.0
Mouse = Logitech cordless (though the problem is prone to other mice as well)

Make a
Code:
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
and make sure you choose the right mouse input port.

Tip: Put 'Debian Sarge' in your 'My LQ' aka 'User CP', in the 'Distribution' field. So everyone would know it and would not have to ask you.
