Mouse freezing in Fedora 1

I have a Microsoft optical USB mouse and it freezes every like 10 minutes. The light turns off on it and the pointer wont move. It gets really annoying and i have to keep unplugging and replugging it in.

Do you see any messages in /var/log/* that may
be related to that phenomenon?

PM me if you wanna see a pic of my comp, I worked a long time for it and its hard for a 14 year old to get $2,500!
It's processor, not processer.

What does that have to do with anything?

And what's with the system-logs? Anything usbmouse
related in syslog, messages or debug?

I googled your problem and found many links and some possible solutions. Did You?

This particular piece of hardware seems to spread it's flakiness across both windows and linux platforms.

Yet you still haven't posted this information, which tells me you likely deserved the mocking.

Do yourself a favor and increase your epidermal density. Then post some information we can use to help you.

That, or buy a new mouse.
