Mouse Error on Bootup

I am using Fedora Core 2 and when the system boots up I now get this
error:

Type mismatch: Expected `int' got `float' for key
/desktop/gnome/peripherals/mouse/motion_threshold

Does anyone know what can be the cause of this and how I can fix it?

Thank you!

Sounds like a stuffed-up version of gnome to me...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I mean that the release of Gnome that you installed has
a bug. Even if you HAD done some tweaking, that's
an error that should be handled gracefully, or have been
made impossible.

Cheers,

Talking

Hi,

Try switching from gnome to KDE (eg. switchdesk kde )and reconfigure your mouse from there.
