Lightbulb Mounting an LVM on partition

I have a dual boot system on which I have RHEL and Freespire OSs. I wanted to mount the RHEL LVM on my Freespire partition, I did it but it refused saying it is a "special device". So what could be the problem?

If its a RHEL4 Os may be the device-mapper thing is looking a special device. I am not aware of the other OS you using by this could be a possible cause.
