Question mounting



Zeas @ all!

have got a little problem, but it would be great if anyone could help me!

what should i write into /etc/fstab that my on boot automounted FAT32 parts can be written from non-root-users?


please tell me!

example only.. some of the mount points depends on how yours is setup.


/dev/hda1 /mnt/windows vfat defaults 0 0



where /dev/hda1 is where the fat partition is located at in conjunction of your hard drive and ide....

/mnt/windows is the directory it will use to mount the files.... to view... you can create any directory you want, but i think most commonly and easiest to remember would be in a dir named windows....

vfat is the version of what type of filesystem it is...

defaults would be defaults of users.. i think you can add users too.... and so on.. i think that is how mine was setup.. not on my linux box right now so not for sure....
