See man modules. You need to add your modules to /etc/modules if you want them to load at boot time. There may also be /etc/modules.conf if /etc/modules doesn't exist.

Hi, this is what i have:

Quote:
ls /etc | grep mod
depmod.d
fb.modes
modprobe.conf
modprobe.d
So please when they dont exist which one will work on my CentOS 5.10 (Redhat)?

There is directory: /etc/sysconfig/modules

in it is only file: udev-stw.modules:
Quote:
#!/bin/sh
MODULES="nvram floppy parport lp snd-powermac"
[ -f /etc/sysconfig/udev-stw ] && . /etc/sysconfig/udev-stw
for i in $MODULES ; do
modprobe $i >/dev/null 2>&1
done
Please anyone have idea where to add lsit of modrobe commands?
