Maya 5.0 on Slackware ?

I was using Maya 5.0 on a Redhat system. I've got Maya 5.0 rpm's... Is there anyway to install it on Slackware 9.1 ?
Anyone tried it ? is it possible ?

You could try converting the rpms to tgz with a tool included with Slackware.
'rpm2tgz nameofrpm'

This will make a slackware package and then you should be able to 'installpkg nameoftgz'

as root.
