I added a (URL) security update in Mandrake Update when it runs it hangs the program. Where can I find the file or config that I go to.... to delete this url with out running the Mandrake Update Utility.
If I remember correctly, Mandrake Update is basically the same as rpmdrake. If you run the latter, you might (note: not used it in a while) be able to change the settings for MandrakeUpdate.
You know I thought the same thing; but when I tried that all it did was open mandrake update. I was wondering if there was a config. file or something that I can just delete that url without running the program.
If you are using the same URL as the security updates, if you run Mandrakeupdate, select cancel when you get the Update window, you can then select 'Define Sources'. From there you can delete your security URL.
