Hi there,
I want to know the log file for the users. i want to know which services get started when a user logs in and which services get stopped when the user logs off. Is there a logfile for the elapsed time of user login and logoff.

last should give you an overview of times.
There shouldn't be any services being started by
users loging in ...

Have a read in
man utmp
man wtmp
man login

Cheers,
Tink
