LINUX vs WINDOWS BECAUSE MBR


Hello;
when I install linux and put the boot loader in MBR and install windows, the windows remove the linux boot loader and put it boot loader.
what can i do for that problem?

you can't stop windows donig it... gotta love M$ for that one.

what you can do though, if you can't install linux 2nd, is to use a boot disk to access linux, and then reinstall the bootloader, e.g. "/sbin/lilo" as root if you are using lilo.

Usually your install disk can act as a boot disk as well, so you don't need to bother with a floppy.
