Linux on 486 questions
I'm not exactly new to Linux, having used SuSE, Fedora, and Gentoo, but I've got a new project. I recently picked up an old 486 with 8 MB of RAM, floppy and CDROM drives, with Win 95 installed on it now. I've been looking at different small distros, and TinyLinux seems the best, but from the install page it is difficult to tell how exactly it is installed. Does anyone have any idea as to how TinyLinux installs? Or is there a better small distro out there?
Also: To make the computer even semi-useful, I plan on installing an Ethernet card. However, there are no PCI slots in the computer, just these strange large ones. What are these, and where can I find a network card for them?
Thanks
