linux in P3


help me choose...what is the best linux distros that can best run in P3 500Mhz with 128mb and with GUI. a distros that can be network with windows. thanx guys

debian with fluxbox + xdm + xorg. Get the lenny distro as the etch distro xorg server had memory leak problems (my one did anyway). Debian uses names like etch and lenny to refer to a particular distribution, similar to ubuntu gusty or fiesty distros.

Don't be afraid of debian, its looks nasty but has a heart of gold. ;-)
