Linux gaming question.


1. Does sims 2 work yet?

2. Does half life 2 run in linux?

So i need to pay to play a game that I already own, I dont have to do that in windows....

you should check out wineX, it lets you play windows games on linux

or if you are willing to pay $15, check out cedega at www.transgaming.com

but you have to pay for windows in the first place so its not really a fair comparison.

btw, winex is free, but its not as complete as cedega is.

Correction, you are SUPPOSED to pay for windows.

I'll have to check wine out. If i can get half life 2 and sims 2 up, i wouldn't have a use for windows.
