Linux/BSD Distro that has router, NAS and media center capability out of the box
May I ask what is the best Linux/BSD distro that has router, NAS, media Center(I just want to be able to stream music and movie files to PC. Tuner recording capability will be just a bonus) and file and printer sharing out of the box. I am planning to buy ay cheap atom rig that can serve these requirements.
The distro I want needs to have a front-end web gui for managing the tasks.
If possible the distro must have squid proxy because my sister loves to watch anime online. we have slow broadband(384kbps) so this will be a killer feature.
If a Linux distro with my requirements does not exists, will you mind telling me a distro that has the most capabilites I mentioned + tutorial I need to read to install any necessary plugins to get the functionalities I need.
I have read from internet that FreeNAS is very good. but it has no router, media center and file and printer sharing capabilities(correct me if I am wrong). EBox a ubuntu derivative has tons of features but has no media center, router and bittorrent support out of the box.
All do if you know how to configure.
FreeBSD and NetBSD for what you are looking for in BSD.
Debian, Ubuntu, OpenSuse and Fedora for what you are looking for in linux.
Everything has to be configured.
I am sorry sir but I am noob. I need an advice on how to do that. If you want please suggest me a distro that has most the functionality I wanted and tutorial i need to read + plugins i need to install.
