"Running Linux" by Matt Welsh. It's one of the O'Reilly Press publications. It covers the subjects you're interested and more.

I just bought a RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) book for
$19.99 and free shipping from www.discountpcbooks.com/.
I am sure it has some of the stuff you are looking for.

I was seriously thinking about getting "Red Hat Linux 7.1 Bible", but it has got some pretty harsh reviews on Amazon.com.

I believe one actually said: "complete waste of money!"

I'd go with the O'Reilly Running Linux book as someone has already mentioned. It's definitely worth the money. I reference it at least a few times a week.
