Linux account with READ ONLY permissions running ls -al command

Additional Info: Server running Red Hat Enterprise AS 3 & account has READ ONLY permissions to directory and file structure

Requirements and Question: I need to see all permissions on directories and files listed within some application directories on a Red Hat Enterprise server. The report was pulled by an account with READ ONLY access to the application directories and files needed for this report. Will this account with READ ONLY access to the files and directories for this application list all groups and accounts with read, write and/or execute access to the application directories and files?

Thanks for taking the time to answer this question. If more info is needed, let me know.

If an account has read access it will be able to view the owner, group, and all necessary permissions on the file. It won't be able to change any of them, but it can see them.

The directories will also require execute permission if you want to do anything more than list the names (no metadata) that the directory contains.
