Question LILO did not overwrite GRUB- can't boot

After 3 days of expirementing with Debian, I realized that even without apt-egt slackware is where its at .
Debian by default installed the GRUB bootloader.
When I reinstalled slackware, and it by default installed LILO, I assumed that LILO would overwrite GRUB. But now when I boot (I dual boot with XP) the GRUB loader begins loading but then gives an Error 15 and stops. Im presently booting from a floppy.
Any suggestions?

I would put in your XP cd and run the fixmbr command from the repair console. Or use a 98/95 cd or a dos disk 1 (or any dos disk 1 that is downloadable) and run fdisk /mbr.

Then install LILO.
