learning how to write shell

I am an Oracle DBA and I am new with Linux, I can get around the Linux server but there are million things on Linux I don't know. Any way, I would like to ask you guys where or what resource I can use to learn how to write Bourne-shell, bash, C shell, korn shell????

Excellent howto in which I learned most of my bash scripts from, etc.

Hear, hear! The ABS Guide is excellent - I always keep a local copy on my laptop for reference.
