Question Is there a MAC OS X work-alike distro?

I'm just wondering if anyone knows of any attempts to clone the Mac OS X experience through an x86 linux distro. If anyone knows of any "conversion" how-tos for a popular distro that achieves this type of result that you found particularly fun / useful I would love to know. I know its not too tough to get baghira style for kde, but getting the aqua dock at the bottom running for superkaramba has not been the easiest experience for me either. I suppose a live cd distro that does this would be pretty sweet too...

Thanks in advance for any input and examples!

a distro can not clone osx... that just doesn't make sense. the underlying distro build will always be linux, like you say, it's just theme's and things.... so any distro is just as viable.

clarification

Perhaps I chose my words poorly...

What I meant is, is there any group or someone who is a Mac OS X nut that has released a pre-configured version of linux that has its UI tuned to act like OS X while still being a linux distro that is able to run my choice of desktop linux apps.

Maybe what I'm looking for is just a great and up to date howto with plenty of handholding for the superkarmba stuff.

I have a pretty okay idea of how to do certain things, but it isn't all super-easy.

If you look at XPde for example, http://www.xpde.com/index.php you'll see a Windows XP version of what I'm talking about. In their case, they want to make it easy for Win XP users to migrate to Linux by giving them a familiar look and feel. I wonder if anyone has done similar (if not as thorough) work on an OS X-like project.
