Interpreting nfsiostat output - op/s vs ops/s

Hello all. I'm trying to use nfsiostat (part of the sysstat package) on a RHEL5 system and I can't seem to find good documentation on the difference between two specific fields. Here's a section of output from nfsiostat, and as you can see there's an "op/s" field, and an "ops/s" field. Both read and write operations have an "ops/s" field, which is self-explanatory. There is however an "op/s" field which I assume should be a total of the read and write operations, but the math doesn't agree. In this sample, "op/s" is 9.54, "read ops/s" is .270, and "write ops/s" is 1.154. Any clarity provided would be greatly appreciated.

Code:
   op/s rpc bklog
   9.54 0.00
read: ops/s kB/s kB/op retrans avg RTT (ms) avg exe (ms)
                  0.270 4.494 16.621 2 (0.0%) 18.852 19.553
write: ops/s kB/s kB/op retrans avg RTT (ms) avg exe (ms)
                  1.154 11.061 9.588 0 (0.0%) 8.168 55.034
