Image behind gnome-terminal

I just started using ubuntu and every time I open the terminal the background is some purple image with black text. So I was wondering how do you change this image to a different picture or at least a solid color?

if it's gnome terminal, right-click into the window and look for "profile".
There should be a tab for "color" .

In KDE it's almost the same, right-click into the window and look for "alter active profile" or sth simular.
