Angry id ... respawning too fast


all id has the message respawning to fast. I have redhat 9.
I tried to change the run level (init 3). It didn't work.

I don't have more idea, to re4solve the problem.

help me !!!

What is the "it" that didn't work? Do you mean to say you don't boot into a console login similar to this?

I think you may have meant that X will still not start. You didn't give your specific hardware you are using so I can't give you anything specific.

Debian - dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
Mandrake - XFdrake
Redhat 7.3 down - the setup utility leads to several config tools
Redhat 7.3 up - redhat-config-xfree86
You may have these tools:
XF86Setup
XFree86 -configure
Xconfigurator
xf86cfg
xf86config
xconf
ATI Linux drivers
If you need the nVidia driver, most likely, you want the Linux IA32 driver
