HSZ70

Hello,

One of the disk in the HSZ70 Cluster is showing amber light. It have moved the disk to failedset.
We are not able to connect to any controllers using hsxterm command. Hence we have connected using CONSOLE terminal
and did remove 1 disk from spareset and added the same into the required Mirrored Set. The mirroring is completed and now things look ok EXCEPT 1 important thing. And that is , whenever we are trying to connect to HSZ70 using hsxterm, it is goint to FMU mode rather than HSZ70.

FMU>

We really want to know why is it happenin this?

Any ideas?

Thanx,
admin

Maybe we would have ideas...if we knew what an HSZ70 Cluster was, had any experience with it, or knew something about what the role of Linux was in this whole setup.

You don't give alot of details, so it's hard to give you any help. Best thing I can suggest is for you to contact tech-support for your hardware/software/whatever-the-thing-is....

Hi,

In that case I apologize but I can provide any details. The 2 node cluster is connected to TRU64 UNIX hosts and we use hsxterm5 to get the HSZ70 prompt for maintenance. So far it used to work.
But now it gets it through FMU> console instead. Exit from there , and we are back onto the command prompt.
Thats a strangest thing.

Any hints?

Thanx,
admin
