Howto: remove lilo & put win2k boot loader back?

Hi,

How do you put windows 2000 boot loader back safely,
and remove lilo without damaging any of the fat32
partitions?

Thank you,
Hugo

If Win2K is located on the first partition of the hard drive, and is labeled as bootable, then use a Win95 / 98 boot disk and from the prompt do a fdisk /mbr command.

This will delete the master boot record, and default to booting Windows.

However, I am not sure if the Win2K bootloader can boot anything but Microshaft operating systems or not.
