How to write the found table of the hard disk drive with testdisk?

Hello

I have done 'Quick Search', then, it did 'Deeper Search'.

Then, testdisk could find the right structure of the disk. However no options are indicated concerned about saving the new structure/table. It says "Continue with deeper search".

There are no options to save the new table after the long deep search.

What to do? Any help welcome.

I think, from memory, ... you have to continue once the scan is done to recover the data.

You will need a suitable harddrive for testdisk to copy the data to.

Sorry about my first reply (type over) I was way off base.

Testdisk has had some major advances over the past years, and the "log file" may be of help if your recovery has been interrupted.

and, ... test disk recovers partition information, for data recovery use photorec and/or dd_rescue
