how to understand commands

hi all,

i want to work with ns, most of the time, to run a protocol, i write "ns name.tcl",
but this time i want to run a protocol, which is too different,
when i read its README (http://www.monarch.cs.rice.edu/ftp/multicast/README), it says to write 3 commands, could any one explain these commands for me and tell me the sequence of these 3 commands? which files these commands use ?

Can you quote the parts of the page that you have problems with? I don't see anywhere something that requires 3 commands.

PS I don't know ns, so probably can't help you further
