Well you have to take into consideration that your question is very vague. You should not force members to rewrite howto's and manuals that already exist. Sendmail is very complicated in setting up for many different environments. I'd suggest you may want to start off with a sendmail book or read the docs at www.sendmail.org to get started, then when you run into a specific problem when setting up, ask your questions here for others to help out.

Further, DO NOT spam members with requests like this. Sending email to people asking questions that should be asked on the site is inappropriate and earns you a quick ignore. Even worse, you might want to research the people you ask to make the fact that your question is innappropriate less apparent.

Asking me to tell you have to setup sendmail: I don't use sendmail as my MTA
on your RedHat 9.0: I don't use RedHat... 9.0 or otherwise
linux server: I openly advertize that I have *BSD on my normal systems

shows that you clearly just picked from a bunch of people who were posting and not those who appeared to be able to help you. Asking me to

just irratates me and everyone else I am sure you emailed.

I'm sorry if this comes across as harsh. I understand your language is not English and your culture might see this differently. Maybe what you wanted to ask and how you asked it came across wrong... but still... only email in very specific and drastic circumstances.

Otherwise....

Actually our rules state not to email at all. The only time you should email is if you know the other member and maybe they asked you to email them, otherwise don't send any member questions thru email, ask them on the forums.

Its our rules and you agreed to them when registering.. http://www.linuxquestions.org/rules.php
