Keep in mind that most people will be seriously concerned about your mental health when you try to make them switch their tool that works for them over to a tool that works for you. Computers - especially desktops! - don't exist for no good reason, they're there to get work done. Just because your ethics make you think that your way to get things done is better than theirs in every single aspect, you can (and probably will) be wrong.

Before you start evangelizing other people over something that does not change their lives (or even yours...) at all, ask yourself how you would react if someone visited you and would immediately try hard to make you throw away your TV/lawn mower/screwdriver and use their instead, without providing a better reason than "but it's free!".
