How to Hide Remote Desktop Announce

I use Ubuntu 11.4 with Remote Desktop now on my children's computers and I'd like to hide the Remote Desktop announcement that "Another use is now controlling your computer" .. Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi

I'm still using 10.10, so I'm not sure about 11.4. From the menu on the top, select System, Preferences, Remote desktop. Then under "Notification area", change it to "Never display an icon".
