How to find High utilized files under / .

This seems easy at first but when i tried i m not able to find the good solution to this problem .

Everytime i run the command it shows files under /var /usr . But i want files under / only.
I m using below command
find . -size +100000000c -exec ls -lhart {} \;

Filesystem is like this
/
/var
/usr

So if / is full , deleting files under /var or /usr will not make any difference.

I hope i made my question clear.

Are you saying that your /var and /usr are on seperate partitions?

From the find man page:
Code:
-mount Don't descend directories on other filesystems. An alternate name for -xdev, for compatibility with some other versions of find.
Always check the man pages first.

no it's not (not a problem, not too complicated, and you don't have to read it all).
also, you can search through man pages with '/' (and search through results with 'n' and 'N').
maybe "man man" will help?
