Smile HOW TO CHECK BIOS version through command line


Please let me know how to Know the Bios version through command line in linux OS

I have one more question,

i have HP server and LINUX OS

i want to check that ASR is enable or disable

and want to check how to disable/enable through command mode

can you help me on this too!!!!

You might find a reference to the setting from the output of dmesg or dmidecode. However, I don't see anyway around your having to reboot to make changes in the bios.
