I had a real problem at windows and had to reinstall (what else is new with windowz you might say
); Ok you're right but some applications can't run at WineX so I must have winxp installed....
I have 2 HDs, first has win, second linux. The thing is that when I installed XP, their bootloader overwritted lilo and now I can't boot in my Linux distro. I know there's a way booting Linux from XP's boot.ini... So, win are hda, and linux is hdb. If anyone has a solution please help.
here's the boot.ini options:
Code:
[boot loader]
timeout=30
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
i guess i should add a line next to:
Code:
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect
like this???:
Code:
multi(0)disk(1)rdisk(0)partition(1)="Linux"
