Question How do I know how a file is encoded? UTF-8, UTF-16, etc.. ??


How can I find out how a file is encoded??
UTF-8, UTF-16, ISO-8859-1, etc..

If it's a text file without a header starting it, you can only guess by checking the characters to see which charset they're from.
