Question How do I install 'make'


How do I install and verify the program make.

im not familar with it, is it part of gcc?

I found something on my rh, cd3 called make, and installed that but it still says not found, do i have to link that or something to make it globally exucutable?

what happens when you type "whereis make" ??

what about "rpm -qa | grep ^make" ??
