Angry How do i change Lilo's default boot?

Hi.New Linux user. I am dual booting off a 50/50 partitioned harddisk (30gig) i got Win98/RedhatLinux7.2 setup. When I turn computer on Lilo boots up and is defaulted to boot into Linux. I want to change it so that it defaults into Win98 and I can select Linux with the down arrow.

Anyone know how to do this?

thnks.
Linux is cool. I am using it mostly to learn unix and
as a programming tool.

man lilo
man lilo.conf

You need to change the /etc/lilo.conf file and run lilo. Start by running lilo -t. This will show you the current settings of lilo.conf but will not update /boot. Note that the current default boot has a splat beside it. Make a backup copy of lilo.conf. Edit lilo.conf. The last section of the file contains "image" sections. Find the image section that you want to be the default and move it so it is the first image section. Run lilo -t again. If there are no errors and the os you want as default shows first with a splat, then you run lilo and reboot.

Another way is to add a "default=xxx" line to the top part of lilo.conf (before the first image seciton). Make the xxx match the "label=xxx" in the image section of the os you want to be default.
