Help install MDK10.1.

I am knew to Linux,purchased mdk 10.1 power pack and have tried to install it three times with no success. What I need is some literature that is very,very basic(free). I am unfamiliar with the terminology and command line. If anybody can point me in the right direction I will be forever grateful. TIA.

what went wrong with your install. The forums are here to help. Did it lock up half way through or did it never start the install, ect...

Hi, Im also having some problems installing 10.1 but i think im getting there (Also a newbie to this linux thing) Check out the thread i have a bit further back in the list to see if any of the things i have done helps..

It installed ok,had trouble trying to configure the graphical interface,I have a nvidia geforce2 mx/400 with 32mg ddr pci vid card. Was not able to boot into it,asked for login name then password but would not allow me to enter my password. That is as far as I got. I also use dial up with a win modem which I could not config as well. I built a 13gig partition with partition magic and formatted it ext3 and installed it on that.
