Nope, nobody can work as netadmin and not know basics. These are beginner's questions.
I don't know shit about Linux man. I got my Network Admin job after 2 semesters in college and I'm not going for my other 2 semesters. I know Windows Server 2003 and stuff but we never went over Linux and they have Linux Servers here. Please give me some help guys.

I too would be dubious, from your attitude, and the scope of the problems.
Quite frankly if i didn't know what those were, in a position such as yours i'd be canned...
if the company took you on knowing you needed extensive training, why are they not providing it?
Curiously, how can you not find those answers on a search engine???
No way are these questions net admin questions. The way they are phrased looks like homework to me. Before closing this thread, I would offer you the following advice:
all of your questions can be answered quickly by inputting them to Google
all of your questions can be answered by installing Debian and using it and using the man pages
all of your questions can be answered by using Rute and other Linux books - if your "company" uses Linux, get them to buy them for you
