gnome-theme-manager won't open

Description of Problem:
Opening the gnome-theme-manager (Theme) gives 'fatal error' & crashes.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open gnome-theme-manager (Preferences -> Theme)

Actual Results:
Error: "gnome-theme-manager" (process 3288) has crashed due to a fatal
error.

Expected Results:
gnome-theme-manager would open..

How often does this happen?
Inevitably.

gnome-theme-manager works provided metacity is working properly, and gconf is configured properly.If you could reproduce the stderr,from the terminal it would be better,coz there must be something else besides fatal error in the stderr.
