General user login server from Windows 10

Hi

I've setup a Unbuntu 20.04 server in which I installed R and RStudio. I also created user accounts in it. Now, I need to allow the user to access their account in the server via Windows 10 to run R and RStudio.

What remote connection is suggested?

Thank you.

There may be 20 or more ways. One is this. https://www.makeuseof.com/tag/how-to...u-and-windows/

It might also be possible to "send" the software window to windows by running it in linux tools on windows.

E.g. X2Go. But there are really lots of them.

Okay, that sounds interesting. I particularly like the aspect of being able to pull across a single application as opposed to the entire desktop. I think I'll try that one. This does not appear to involve installing vncserver and xrdp. Is that right?

Yes, you're right. You'll only need x2go-server on Linux and x2go-client on Windows.
