gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1': No such file or directory

Im having a problem right now w/ this error "gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1': No such file or directory" i already install the errata coz i think its only the problem. Please suggest me some solution w/ this thanks in advance :-)

Do you have g++ installed?

gcc can't find its directory
when you build gcc it hard codes its directory (libs and tools) into itself
so it's very odd for it to loose itself this way
cc1 for me is in /usr/lib/gcc-lib/i686-pc-linux-gnu/3.3.1
but like i said you shouldn't have to put this in $PATH
unless this is Solaris or Cygwin on Windows or something i don't know about

did you move the libs around ??

I'd reinstall gcc i think
